Description

This workshop will cover some central approaches of assessment, and interventions which are formulated from a spiritual perspective. Particular attention will be placed on identifying appropriate entry points for conversation with client systems around their spiritual world view, as well as questions and tools to utilize over time. Potential implications for individual and communal work towards transformation will be introduced as well.

Learning Objectives

As a result of workshop:

  • Participants will have a beginning language for defining and describing spirituality in working with client systems.
  • Participants will be aware of at least three possible entry points or questions which can be utilized to engage clients in a discussion around their spiritual ideas.
  • Participants will be able to describe at a beginning level, at least one possible spiritual assessment or intervention tool for us with a client system.
