Description

The primary focus of the session will be to introduce a model of care for adults who are homeless that strives to be Biblically sound, holistically affirming and transformational. It is important to note that this model is adaptable for work with other populations as well.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this session, individuals will be able to:

  • Explain how “with-ness” precedes “witness”

  • Describe how social workers can view themselves as “wounded healers” in relation to others

  • Articulate how the model of care presented in this workshop could apply to the population with whom they work
