Training description:
Research has not clearly defined what the concept of "work life balance" is, although we are frequently encouraged to achieve a balance between our time and devotion to our work, our family, our leisure time - and for those of us for whom faith plays a significant roles in our lives - our spirituality.
When we think about balance, we think about equal amounts of time and effort being placed in the area in which we are engaged. However, reality quickly informs us that balance from that perspective is unrealistic. Where we are in our life and lifespan development will most certainly have an impact on just how much time is spent working versus leisure time versus family commitments versus our faith commitments.
The focus of this webinar is to facilitate the critical thinking process regarding work-life balance sensitive to lifespan development.
